The Warners have taken a wrong turn while going to the beach. They're standing on the Egyptian desert in front of the Pyramids. Wakko is carrying a huge pile of stuff, including a barrel of monkeys, a boom box, a ham, a magnet, a cage with Pinky and the Brain, a cheap romance horror thriller novel ("Love's Last Lunch"), an anvil, a Plucky Duck life saver, and a kitchen sink. He asks, "Are we at the shore yet?" Yakko, studying a map, says "I knew we shoulda taken that left turn at Alexandria..." Dot replies "It's gotta be close! Dig those crazy sand-castles!"

One interesting note: The Warners' voice balloons cast shadows too...

Synopsis

Cleopatra and Caesar are in her castle, plotting to conquer the world. Nearby, the Warners are heading to the beach. Wakko complains about having sand in his shoes, and takes them off to dump out, producing a camel from one and a sphinx from the other. They spread out their blanket and such, and are challenged by Caesar. They think he's a waiter, and order root beer floats, then a salad when he tells them his name. He objects to being called a chef - he's a leader of men! - but the Warners don't believe him, and send him off to put on some pants.

Cleopatra comes out of her palace looking for Caesar, who has finally bought the Warners' idea that he's a salad chef. She has more on her mind than salads, and storms back into the palace. The Warners follow her, looking for a room at the fancy resort hotel, and Cleopatra obliges them: she has them thrown into the dungeon. They discover the service to be less than average, but manage to escape by means of a secret tunnel leading to the throne room.

Yakko and Wakko fawn over Cleopatra, and Dot reacts in her usual fashion: "Boys!" Cleopatra thought she'd had them thrown in the dungeon. Yakko points out that it used to be the dungeon, but it's now the honeymoon suite. The lobby is next, even if it is Cleopatra's throne room; the Warners start redecorating right away. Cleopatra objects, and goes looking for Caesar. He's developed his master plan: a whole chain of restaurants, with not just salad but pizza, too. Cleopatra goes off to rule the world alone, but her palace has been turned into a fancy resort hotel. It's just as well, though, as Cleopatra has a new career: she's been booked into the lounge, opening for Engelbert Humperdink.

Pun Fight at the O. K. Corral

Credits

Synopsis

Marshal Wyatt Earp, the meanest marshal in the WIld West, has just run a man out of Tombstone for letting their shadows cross. The Pony Express - Yakko, Wakko, and Dot - arrives in a cloud of dust, bringing a pony for Earp. When he says his name, they think he's burping, and chide him for impoliteness. This goes around a couple of more times, and Earp has had enough, so he decides the town isn't big enough for him and the Warners.

Earp goes into the saloon lookinig for "three pesky critters", and doesn't recognize the Warners in period dress sitting at a card table. They invite him to join in their game of "go fish"; he asks who they are, and Yakko introduces Wakko as Wild Bill Hiccup. This leads to another round of bodily function puns, of course, and the Warners wind up squirting Earp with seltzer bottles. He gets mad all over again and starts after them again.

Instead of catching them with his lasso, though, the Warners catch him, tie him up, and give him a perm. Earp chases them onto the dance hall stage, where they put him in a dress and push him out to become a star. After his debut, they put him on a stage for Hollywood to launch his career.

The Whole Tooth and Nothin' But the Tooth

Credits

Synopsis

Breakfast in the water tower isn't exactly the healthiest in the world. While Yakko and Dot are enjoying their meal, Wakko starts in on a bowl of cereal, but soon discovers a pain in his tooth. Yakko decides that Wakko has a cavity, and Dot reminds them that that means a trip to the dentist.

Wakko is scared of dentists. Yakko and Dot don't help: they ask if he thinks a dentist is a vampire, a space alien, or Doctor Frankenstein, all of which fuel Wakko's fantasies, which take over the whole page before Dot snaps him out of it. They drag Wakko to the dentist, Dr. Paine, and rush through the waiting room and into the treatment room.

The doctor tries to take a look, but Wakko won't open his mouth. Yakko and Dot show him how easy it is, demonstrating on Dr. Paine, but Wakko is unconvinced until the assistant comes in, producing a "Helloooo, nurse!". The boys fight to be first to be treated, coming out an hour later with a full set of braces. Dot sees Dr. Paine's partner, Dr. Suffering, and falls in love herself - so she decides to get a cavity...

Mirror Mix-Up
Minerva Mink is staring at herself in the mirror, but there are 10 differences between herself and her reflection.
- Minerva Mink is badly off-model in this drawing. Since Minerva is not in the standard style guide, Neal Sternecky probably had to work from memory.

Wakko must find Slappy's Walnut Fig-Dough Surprise by scent. He has to avoid the bomb that Yakko and Dot have planted in Dr. Scratchansniff's pants, and the Brain's New and Improved Auto-Submission Serum.
