Daffy's Shot At Stardom

Credits

Synopsis

Elmer introduces himself as host of Fun With Duck Hunting, the top rated duck hunting comic story. Daffy then introduces himself as co-host and Elmer objects as Daffy is a duck. Who knows better how a duck's mind works is the reply.

Daffy proceeds to trick Elmer into acting like a duck, of sorts, and other hunters fire at him. The duck tries to trick Elmer again, setting him up as a prize target but this time things don't quite work and Daffy is blasted. He discovers that although the shooters are dressed as hunters they aren't after ducks but they are out to make an example of anyone making comic book stories that embarrass duck hunters. As Daffy runs from them, stating his agent will hear of this, Elmer comments that hunting comics are getting more dangerous.
