Synopsis

Sylvester has just been kicked out of Granny's house and it's Halloween night so there isn't much in the trash that the cat likes. Finding only a radio, he tries to at least hear a cat food commercial only to get told to run for his life as there's a Martian invasion.

The local radio station is doing the annual Halloween "Invasion from Mars" broadcast. This time there is a difference; Martians, led by Marvin, are invading and want the town abandoned. Townsfolk comply with the demand and flee. Sylvester however charges to Porky's place in an effort to warn him. Porky dismisses the now real radio warning as just the usual Halloween broadcast.

Marvin lands and scans, finding one holdout hasn't left: Porky. The Martian tries to get his point across only to be mistaken for a trick-or-treater, disarmed, and then ignored. Marvin decides to move Porky himself, by moving the house with his spaceship.

Realizing he left K-9 behind, Marvin tries to rescue the dog from the house but only manages to fall from his ship and into the house himself. An irate Porky kicks the pair out, warning them he doesn't want more trouble from them or their friends. The Martians struggle back to the ship, Marvin calling off the invasion.

The townsfolk return, the radio announces the invasion has retreated, and Porky still thinks it was all just another normal Halloween night. As he heads to bed, he sees a sheet moving around and shaking, Sylvester underneath, and runs. He's just seen a ghost...

There's A Hare In My Stew!

Credits

Synopsis

Daffy can't settle on his Halloween costume. He rejects a devil outfit, a tutu and wig, a Bugs Bunny costume, and the surfer look before thinking of an ideal costume: a sailor suit. Just then Bugs walks in and makes fun it so Daffy decides to go out as himself, au naturel.

Bugs and Daffy set out trick-or-treating, Bugs expecting carrots. Daffy expects to get candy but only manages to get a foot crushed in a doorway. They keep trying. Bugs gets candy, gum, even money and stock certificates! Daffy gets rocks and coal. There is one house left and Daffy insists on trying one more time despite the decrepit spooky look and the warning that trespassers will be eaten.

Inside, Witch Hazel is brewing a youth serum but is missing an ingredient. She finds a substitution can be made, if she can just find it: fresh tail of rabbit. Just then her doorbell rings, and rings and rings. Planning to turn the ringer of the doorbell, Daffy, into a frog, she answers the door. Upon seeing Bugs she ignores the duck completely and welcomes the rabbit in.

Hazel wants Bugs to just sit in some stew. Daffy is furious at being rejected and now wants to sit in the stew! Hazel threatens to put a spell on the duck as Bugs reads the witch's cookbook. Bugs warns Daffy and they both run for it.

Hazel chases the pair around, with various mishaps along the way. The final problem ends the chase and tosses all three into the stewpot. It seems adding tail of duck makes the youth potion a little too potent...
